Who We Are
Connecting the Horn for Sustainable Development
The Horn of Africa Regional Environment Centre and Network (HoAREC&N) is a regional knowledge and action hub dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusive development across the Horn of Africa. We work with communities, research institutions, governments, and development partners to generate knowledge, strengthen capacity, and support evidence-based solutions for climate change adaptation, natural resource management, and sustainable livelihoods. Our mission is to unite science, policy, and practice to build a resilient and environmentally secure future for the region.
